Still in Jasper. After the Maligne Lake, we headed to the Medicine Lake, which had been treated by native people as a sacred place.

The uplake becomes a wetland. It was full of water before! Where has the water gone?

Looking at the mountain, and thinking of what the native people have said about it, I felt awe-struck.

This pp shows part of the a underground river in the lake, which drains the lake water into the valley 300 m away from the lake. Did you see the dark green winding in the lake water, which leads to the inlet of the underground river?
